Anders gezegd, het is een systeem voor Windows, waarmee je vanaf de command-line veel open-source software op een computer installeert. Het is gebouwd op PowerShell en .NET.

Mijn favoriete applicaties zijn te installeren met Chocolatey:

• Filezilla
• Notepad++
• Paint.NET
• Firefox
• adblockplusfirefox
• VLC

Korte uitleg

Het is mogelijk om met één commando een applicatie te installeren.

 choco install notepadplusplus

of (vanaf PowerShell prompt)

 cinst notepadplusplus

List alle geinstalleerd applicatie

 choco list -localonly

List alle applicatie beschikbaar om te installeren

 choco list
